Nice dog.

My Aunt and Uncle used to have a female named Kate. She was THE most obedient and loving dog ever. She had a lot of allergy problems though, and she didn't live too long. One of the downsides of purebreds unfortunately.

I also believe that dogs are a product of their environment. But they are also animals, so if you tempt their animal instinct, you might be disappointed.

I had a DP when I was younger. It was the best dog I've ever had. Very gentle, but knew when something was going on. Very protective, but knew when to be and when not to be.

the little dog is a minature pincher, he is a hoot! dumb as a rock tho, but always good for a laugh.

She came with the small cropped ears and i wasnt sure i would ever get used to them seeing i was raised around the show ears, but they have grown on me and my next dobe will have the same short ears, it makes her look very tough and i think they would be easy to make stand.

Andrew - Great to here, you cannot go wrong with a dobe, they are so smart and sweet, mine came from an awful background and the fact she could forgive and forget, and love and protect me the way she does, i couldnt ask for a better dog. She is a great protector ( as you can see from her training pics) and a big lover, she might fight ya for a spot on the couch but thats about it.
