Atl Meet 2011 April 15-17th

I was always under the impression the Nissin front calipers were primarily on coupes, and usually 90-91. In all my experience in parts sales I have only ever run across them on coupes and recently the parts database actually changed to list that pad part number for coupes only.

But you know Honda... there's a handful of 96 Civics out there with the unique 88 Civic/CRX input shaft/clutch spline setup in the hydro tranny... using up back stock I guess

I have become the Honda guru at the O'reilly I work at lol. Like, I get paged to come up front and called while I'm in the truck especially when general shops call and have a hybrid build of some kind and can't make heads or tails of it. Kinda sucks being the go-to guy sometimes, but it definately adds to job security haha

Yeah I had nissins on my coupe. Akebono pads will "work" on nissin calipers but not the other way around. The akebono pads will overhang the rotor slightly in a nissin setup.

well where u live now bro. i drive fast as hell & i couldn't get from atl to miami n 5 hrs.

by gainsville, FL. its like 6 hours from my house to miami or to ATL if you follow the speed laws. I got it down 1 hour cuz I was doing about 85mph average the whole way.

I got home about 630pm Monday. Had a great weekend with the cb7 guys as always. See everyone next time. O and Gus is the only person I've ever heard of that will wish diarrhea on someone!
