Or just run on the street? find a quarter mile stretch and buy some dollar store stopwatches.

Damn another unsuccessful meet where no one showed up except like 5 people. Does that qualify as a meet? =D At least the F22B is kickin somewhat.

and we only had 5 CB7s there.

of course it was kinda cold, next time I will bring a little heater. and try to keep us a bit warmer.

I just hope he can get the adjustments made for the car to run smooth.

YEah but John didn't want to many ppl at his house anyways.

For the finding a street thing, , There are a number of good roads by my house where I test for 1/4 mile. PLUS I got a G-tech (old-skool) to measure HP+ 1/4 mile. Only done like 4-5 1/4 mile runs with it. Got a 16.77 and 16.71 and the latter I hit the breaks right before finishing so I woulda had a good <16.5sec run. Perty good for auto tranny with muffler and short ram air!!!!! That and I'm consistently getting 125-129hp readings. If the 20-25% loss in HP with auto vs. man. is true all I gotta do is swap to a stick and I got conservatively 160hp+ ! I haven't even put on my DC sports headers! (waiting for darn cat conv. to get here)

Ya some1's gonna call bs on my numbers but b4 you do the engine is rebuilt with less than 120k ttl miles...

I'm not trying to call bs, just a lil bit of inaccuracy. As far as i've heard the gtech is only reliable/useful against itself. Meaning, you take your base time, then whatever mods your going to do and then run again..that will tell you how fast you've actually gotten. I've seen ppl run 15.0's on the g-tech and run high 15's close to 16's at the track. What was explained is that it includes r/t for some reason ? I'm not entirely sure but i'm just saying don't go thinking your gonna get close to 160hp from a manual swap with just a hot air intake.

I think you should be content if you see 130-135hp ( i think 140 could be possible with an atcual full exhaust ) from the just a header. It's cool, we'll probably be learning to drive stick around the same time lol.
                    I love the bouncy...it's great...
