Good job on planning as early as possible, we didn't have a winter meet but we're sure gonna have a Spring meet!!!

there wasn't a meet. there was a plan but with the time frame it didn't happen.

Not a bad suggestion at all. But families that are taking there children or other family members will be paying a pretty penny for getting their kids in to the park....

its per car.... and only 8 bucks any park around the lake.

and the damn we chilled at last time had no fee to just go park in our area but to get into the park it costs, but i think there is a low water crossing that is just below the damn so the water is fresh and cold from the bottom of lake travis.

I think the meet should be done at the Inner Space Caverns. My reasons are:
1. reasonable location
2. price is good - 10.99 per person with 20+ people with advance notice
3. plenty of parking
4. its cool inside the cavern and then there is plenty of shade out side
5. right off the highway
6. food locations are close
and most importantly
7. I know that my car will make it at least to there.
8. car parts centers are close

there a million half parts stores in austin that are close as well....but i would rather do what the majority feels like doing so that way most people will be happy with the meet. im down for just about any were as long as i know the place and date a month out or so, that way i can get the money and time off. i voted austin because well....i live here lol. but i like all the ideas out so far.

never had an auto meet spring break, sounds pretty cool. Anybody care to go closer Shreveport? It's 6hrs to austin (in a currently busted cb) but i'm guessing nobody likes DFW or houston (family there).

<idea edit> I could definitely use an excuse for a mass dyno day before the bis header gets in. There's waaay to many people complaining about dyno proof. Improv autoX is fun too, but you can only get away w/ it in the boonies.
