I think dallas raceway has been closed for a while now because of the holiday season and the weather. It closed at the end of November last I checked on the website...We planned to go (me and a few buddies) but we checked the schedule and got owned. We finished all our cars a week after the last day.

Well guys im just going to put this out there. Should we have the Arlington meet on the 2nd week of Jan since the First week is basically New Years week? Also should we find a closer location somewhere in the middle so us DFW CBs can meet up. I know the highlands is far for some of us.

I do understand that highlands is far for some...and Grand Prairie might as well be at highlands. duncinville is cool.

I was thinking of setting a place where its in the middle of all of us. like I noticed last meet as great because it was about 40-45 mins for all of us. (TBO) I'm down with that.

It's better than yaw driving farther to meet in highlands and its better than me and people in my area to drive to plano and shit. know what I mean? but its up to yaw...

i don't really care guys. Grand Prairie's drag strip is what i was thinkin', its a really cool place to hang and watch the disorganized races, its 8 bucks to enter though.

Well it depends dude if the Arlington CBs and DFW CBs can make it. The point of a meet is for everyone to come chill,eat,talk etc... I dont know if the dragstrip is open weekdays since our meets are during the week?

I dont even if any track is open now. Usually they all shut down around November because of weather. Its pointless for them because of track conditions and the lack of traction...I would check with these track websites first before starting a meet there. But most of them are closed until about march or april next year depending on weather conditions.
