lol einki springs. You dont notice much with headers...Unless you pay money for them. Megan, DC Sports you wont see much of a gain maybe a loss in some areas. I know for sure the stock H22 header flows a lot better than some of those aftermarket brands...Only base header I have seen make a difference is a DC sports with a 2.5 collector. Other than that everything else is minimal to the point where it doesnt matter. Good part about the cheaper ones it cleans up your engine bay a little,

Well I really just want it for looks (plus header wrap) & a different sound with a aftermarket muffler. I'm keeping the stock piping though.

I'm not really looking for performance or a gain in hp/tq, however I am not wanting to loose any either...

Just keep the OEM H22 header then. The heat shield is a nice thing to have to keep underhood temps down. I regret not putting mine on.

Is it really a noticeably power loss difference with an aftermarket header?

i doubt you will lose any power but i also doubt you will gain anything worth the money until you have more done to the motor.(is it stock idk) and also heat wrap the stocker if you can get rid of the ugly heat shield.(only if you wrap it) kills your alt. fast if you leave those headers open to the bay. you could save some money and just add a 2.5' aftermakert collector from manaflow or someone. that would be one of the main areas that nets you gains. and its a hell of alot cheaper then any descent header on the market.

i'm sure you won't lose any power in any area, you will gain power even if its minimal, still a plus to performance. you gain even more power when combined 2.5 full cat-back exhaust.

i got mine for performance and looks, i wrapped mine because the headers i bought got really dirty and messy during installation and i could not clean them off

I'll header wrap too for better air flow and so it'll keep the engine bay from getting hot

I like it, just the sound I guess. But not too much the loudness....
your muffler with your big pipes make your muffler loud. But your muffler on my stock pipes shouldn't be soo loud. I'm aiming for a deep sound (But I doubt it'll be deep)

theres an inner layer inside the muffler that needs to be welded, it should not be too expensive to fix, but will make the ratting go away, the rattle only happens at low RPM, because when accelerating the muffler shakes so does the inner layer
