i noticed my car is torque steering to the left when i step on the gas. and it pulls right when i let go of the gas.

today i bought a lifetime warranty from firestone. They did fix my toe, but it still didn't fix the torque steer.

tomorrow afternoon im gonna have the 2 front tires rotated and balanced to see if that helps.
that torque steer you're saying was present in the green cb as well. exactly how you're describing it. but it doesn't do that on the wagon..

yea its weird because my car never did that before......

did i just gain 60lb of more torque on my right axle which pushes the car to the left?

torque steer is usually happened because of your axles. or your suspension components.

hmm its probably my right axle, because jesus and i had a big problem putting the right axle back after we did the tranny swap. it wouldnt fit in the hub so we had to force it in there with a heavy mallot and a piece of wood.

so does that mean the axle is busted or something?

honestly, diagnosing torque steer is not easy. the only way to fix it is replacing parts. if it doesn't bother you, then just leave it.

Does the prelude have radius rods? If so maybe those need to be adjusted, or your caster is out of specs..
When you pulled your tranny, did you guys loosen or mess with your radius rods?

I'm registered, but I haven't really ever posted or gone to the site. I'm on autogeek more often, but I hardly ever visit that site anymore either. I recently had to unsubscribe from their email system because they have too many sales, and I end up spending too much money on stuff I don't need. I'm sure plenty of people I know will be sad to hear I'm not purchasing in excess anymore because that means no more free stuff.
