lol I trust you, but I guess the point was we have parts not seeing track abuse but were made ideally for that level of performance. i just thought it was odd i catch a little flame for having some track oriented parts that are I guess "useless" for daily, when I can relate it to other parts you guys have. so some hypocrisy in a sense.

it's all good, my standard for judging parts if totally different than you and johnny's. whatever that standard is. even though i think we have a fair share of race performance parts that are ultimately just for show

how can you feel a difference when first off you have an automatic f22? with a kit that probably creates more drag then aerodynamics?

i dont know who johnny is but as for jed i know that 1 sparco seat saved my life in my accident that now belongs to him.

Everyone needs to chill out. I think we forgot why we modify our cars. We do because we love cars. There's no denying that. So what if Wilson has carnards on his F22-powered CB7? It's his car and he can do whatever he wants. We all by parts for our cars that are sometimes unnecessary. For example, I bought a Spoon oil cap. I bought it for $60. Really? An oil cap for $60. It's crazy right? But I bought it because I wanted to. People can talk shit about me and my car all they want, but I won't care. I just tell myself, "People are always going to hate, I just have to keep my hands on the steering wheel and don't look back."

its not about just buying crap for car....its about buying crap for your car and making false claims and spreading the word out. you buy a $60 dollar spoon oil cap then good for you, but are you also gonna talk about how you felt the difference in oil pressure because you bought a spoon oil cap? granted that wilson was trying to be innovative by putting canards onto his car and that wanna be beaks tie bar, but saying you can feel a significant difference just because you put 2 things that are useless is where shit hits the fans. just like how he claimed that he felt the synchrorev match system on older cars when the 370z was the only car to come up with it.

i have no denying of useless parts that we buy because i for one have the same thing
i have ARC parts on the evo like the exhaust heatshiled (120) sparkplug cover (350) oilcap (100) and other miscellaneous parts. all for what NOTHING so people can look at it and say hey look its a rainbow color piece?

i just find it funny how someone can criticize so much but what they have to show for it is parts that are really either cheap or like mentioned useless.

for example:
the people that makes/made "homemade turbos" using ghetto welds no good fuel source and no tuning to the car. they claim "hey i have a turbo car"

now in this case "hey i have this and this parts".... so it makes a "difference" in how it drives....

i'm sorry if you guys think my claims are false or whatever, but I also said I was reluctant when I said I felt a difference and I did... It's cool, not trying to convince anyone the justification for my parts, just saying I see a lot of hypocrisy with the ones that lit the match on the bitch fest.

Bent SSR, if you saw my wheels you wouldnt be able to notice they were deformed. Guys at WORCO powdercoating, 50 years of wheel servicing couldnt even tell.

I think it's funny I'm getting flamed by guys building show cars on how my car should be built, or how useless it is since I dont track when they dont either. I know johnny and jed are just having a little fun, it's cool, but you guys should get rid of your delusions and see we're not that different.
