got a headache today diagnosing my own car. basically at 5000 rpm and on, the car will bog really bad like if it was running too lean or too rich. changed my plugs because they were corroded bad, did my cap and rotor, coil, and igniter and still nothing. put timing at 14 degrees and pinching off the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose making the car run rich. and still nothing.





finally, I remembered that the wire from the coil to the igniter was really loose. so I crimped the connector tighter, and installed everything, and my car runs beautiful now. I have to say, with the h22 plenum and t body installed, it really makes a big difference.

it sounds nicer and has a little pep :P. Are you running the IAB and pt6?

I had to put my pt3 back in because the (3)pt6s I have like to throw oxygen sensor codes, pt3 stock ecu doesnt throw any and runs fine. This is after swapping out 3 good working o2 sensors. Car runs fine without operating iabs and revs nicer on WOT. :]

still using the iab's with pt6. the iab's are hooked up with the box. so it is controlled by the ecu. and yes, it does run a lot stronger. on a rolling start against my coworker's LS 5 speed from 50 mph, I took him till 95 mph, then he finally started creeping on my side. I was like wtf, my car is an auto. LOL. so when we got back to work, I clowned on him the whole day.
