I wouldn't mind going to Florida to see whats so great. I do hear their roads are pretty smooth and empty though. My cousin says their traffic jams are nothing compared to the morning commute in Cali.

Everyone I know that has lived/lives in Florida say they prefer Cali. My friend lasted about a month over in Florida before he bought an airplane ticket and flew back to Cali. 2 days later his dad called him and said the rest of the family would be coming back too because FL sucks. They left everything they had taken to FL behind and just drove back to Cali in their cars towing jet skis.

I see my cousins that live in Orlando more often now then I did compared to when they actually lived here.

Humidity and the weather just sucks out there. I was there for a week for my friends wedding, and the rental we had kept having electrical issues because it was so humid. We were driving back to the hotel at night, and all the electrical stuff inside went haywire! (It was a newer mustang) All the lights just shut off, radio went dead, cluster and everything died. at least the ac kept going. but still. I can vouch for the roads... not that many potholes, smooth roads, nice and wide for those old retired folks.

And Jed, i saw that foo's comment in the other thread, and that's Ethuging at it's best. Besides HE is making the rest of Florida look bad, only him. Well maybe others too but i don't know. All we are doing is bringing OURSELFS down To Mr. sharpie's Douche-ness level. BTW that's his screen name on myspace.
