so i took a 2 mile bike ride to ace hardware to pick up a nut, bolt and washer to replace the one that fell off my piping.

i got tired of riding the bike so i took the evo out again because i had to drop by honda to pick up some fluids and drive to walmart pick up some oil. i love driving the evo x!

well i never really got to push both cars so i dont know its potential.

i can definitely feel the weight on the evo x though. when my aunt lets me borrow it i kinda flirt around with the pedal haha. but the rigidity of the X is awesome. i tried to take a hard turn to see what the super yaw control does, but i wasnt able to do it. plus i was scared as shit feeling soo much power on the turns. not to mention im driving a 30k machine with only 150mi clocked on the odometer knowing my uncle will whoop my ass if i do something stupid to it.

Which one do you like better from your brief initial impressions? I'd be worried about pushing it too mainly because I don't like toying with cars that don't belong to me (the exceptions being my friends cars that I constantly work on). I think the AYC in the evo would make me feel a little brave though since I hear it is impossible to spin out.

I'm trying to convince my friend to get an evo X while he thinks the 9 would be better, so he can build a track monster. He has an obsession with hitting low 1 minute 20 something seconds on streets of willow.

naw its not the power steering i still have fluid in there its coming under the driver side

Lift your car up and check for obvious looseness in the suspension. Your car is old so the bushings might be cracked, balljoints are wearing out, or you just broke something.

yea i can do that but i already broke like 2 jacks, i broke 1 on sunday while putting in my suspension good thing i had a tire under lol... but ima go to the shop to get it on a lift and yea i think its a tie rod cuz thats what everyone has been telling me

You just installed suspension...Did you tighten everything? What exactly did you put in? Does it only make noise when your turning or when you turn the wheel?

Save up some money and buy 1 good jack that will last you. I've killed enough floor jacks to know craftsman sucks so avoid them.

ni only installed the rears and yes i did tighten everything.. it makes noice when i turn the wheel only when im making a sharp turn or when im in a bumpy road
