What do you guys think:
Used KYB AGX's and Skunk 2 Springs with ~8,000 miles for $350 shipped
or
New Skunk2 sport shocks and Skunk2 springs for ~$475 shipped
or
what would you guys suggest as the best suspension setup for under $500

500 might be able to get you ground controls for $300 and new agx shocks?

just double checked ebay because they always have the lowest prices.

$340 for agx new
$315 for ground controls new via this worker at Eibach on honda-tech--"vtecvoodoo"
Ask around, plenty of members are running this set up and the feedback is great.
$155 over what you wanted to pay but it'd be worth it to have a fresh set of agx. Those skunk2 shocks I see from someone who has them arent all that great. Seem like stock replacement with shortened shafts.

Thank you for the info Wilson . i'm just looking at such a low price range because this is for a BEATER with some pretty messed up suspension, boat look lol. The skunk2 shocks seemed like a good idea because they come with new bushing and bumpstops and are supposed to be a great combo with the springs.

Nah man, actually this is my frist car, but I got into an accident with it where the other driver pretty much went straight into my pass. side wheel well and as a quick and cheap fix i just put the stock suspension on the front. And finally I have decided to kinda clean up and work on the car again.

Can anyone recommend a decent FM transmitter for my ipod? The cd changer in my SC is unreliable, and I was going to get a new cd player, but I found out I need to have a bracket and cover fabricated to fit it in my car since no one makes it.

I would suggest none. They all suck. In my opinion at least. I have had 3 so far. I have a $70 fm transmitter if you want it for $50.

my take on omnipower which i've bought used, both of them.

i have one set of street on my coupe bought from a CD wagon owner, fit fine and dandy. and another set of street on leo's car bought from wagon joey. both work fine but i did pre-load leo's set more softly so it's more liveable for her daily use, although being so low isn't really practical in the first place. it's still pretty stiff over springs of course.

it depends on the condition of the coilovers if you buy used but i agree that most of the time coilovers aren't treated very well since mostly everyone doesn't even know how to set it up correctly in the first place.

shrug, gold is mostly used for jewelry and the jewelry is just for appearance purposes. Although gold is super conductive it's only used in high end electronics and even then copper is just as good. Not a waste, it's for bling factor just like the gold plated itbs on the dpk rsx and copper plated wheels and valvecover on civic. The bar is going higher and higher for being unique and creative.
