plans: Found an h22a1 in a junkyard. Find out what the guy wants for the trans and motor this weekend. I am pretty broke until Jan. so hoping to walk away with the trans atleast and get the 5spd underway. Maybe pull an a4 header and replace my blown struts. Need to get the windshield and sunroof glass replaced too. The a6 is tired and hope to have a replacement in before March.

lol i just noticed this yesterday when i saw the movie superbad

alright as you guys can see on my sig i have a dent by the gas lid (thats how i bought it the guy scratched it with his gate he says) and i went to a shop to see how much theyll charge me and they said to repair it theyll charge 300 bucks does that seem reasonable to you guys ???? and well i asked how much to just prep and primer the car and he said 800 it seems good to me i just want to here some opinions from everyone

need better pictures, because it looks like they'd have to get a new quarter panel, which means welding off the old one?

this is an old pic i already fixed the rust and i dont need to replace the panel

david 300 seems fair fo rthe amount of work it will take, assuming they use a hammer and dolly or pull it with a stud welder. as long as they pull it and not just fill it, it seems like a good price

just remember when it comes to bodywork, you do get what you pay for. i can not stress this enough.

It might be because you have 92-93 headlights instead of 90-91 headlights.

yea i know thats why im a lil iffy about it ima check out my dads friends shop and ask them to see if they can fix it and when i do leave it at a shop ima pass by everyday to check up on it to see that there doing it right

Where is this place? I have a nasty dent on my drivers side passenger door. Happened the day before I bought the car when my friend parked the car in Costa Mesa. Tried to bang it out but its right where the molding is and it bothers me still.

Anyone think it would be cheaper or even easier to get another door or even take the outside panel of it and tack weld it onto my existing door?
