there will be no "whats new with your car thread" if someone makes another one i will delete it.

my theory of suspension of the thread is for people to start posting their own drama between pm's. i also want people to know what makes me close threads. by simply creating a new thread doesnt solve the problem.

the thread is suspended and i will delete the dirty posts so i can reopen it. so there is no need to create a new thread.

Or you could just delete that thread, let everyone get over it, and then we can start a new updated version. Most of the thread is full of outdated info now anyways and half the pictures don't work on the earlier pages. The only complaint would probably be about post count, but who really cares about that since only 14 people would lose over 100 post (david has it the worst with 364).

It's not going to make any difference if that thread gets deleted. The drama had nothing to do with that thread. If that thread had never existed, the drama would have happened on another thread. If you create a new thread, it's not going to prevent any new drama from happening. As for post count, I don't understand why anyone cares. Post count doesn't mean anything.

Deleting the whole thread will just make it easier then having Jed go through it to clean out trash, so that is why I suggested we just make a new one and move on. I was just mentioning the post count just in case it is decided to delete the thread, then people would be aware of the post count drop. I know for most of us it doesn't matter, but to a few people it does.

I completely agree if the drama didn't happen in that thread it would have occurred somewhere else, but as of right now its already there and it needs to be taken off because we don't really need that drama on this forum, so we might as well take it as an opportunity to refresh the thread with a new version since majority of the thread is outdated.

starting fresh doesnt mean anything. why? because threads like "whats new with ______" builds up posts so quick that the new stuff becomes old news in a matter of a few days. as for some of you guys noticed that sometimes you cant even keep up with the thread.

post count doesnt matter to me as well, but im sure some people really care about post counts or a certain number they want to reach. and long i dont know how you managed to count peoples post on those threads

i know where you guys are getting at with starting fresh, but i honestly dont think itll make a difference. i will leave it a lesson that anytime individuals provokes drama with others, i will take that thread away. as a slap on a hand. ones drama can spoil it all for others. we dont need to hear your problems with another member.
