Dont get me wrong Wilson I'm not picking on you but it just sounds negative. I have noticed that alot of SoCal peeps have sold, are going to sell, are thinking about selling their cb7 or are MIA. Im not judging anybody for their motives but it just starts to look sad and I would like us SoCal to grow .
On a positive note - Im very glad to see new & old faces here in general w/out a cb feel at home on Cb7 SoCal.
Sorry but I had to get that of my chest

As a proud pioneer of socal, ive seen this place grow from 10 people of all socal to 3 different divisions to over 40 guys in socal...
I guess its just the way of life when people moved on. I know I am one of those guys who built a cb and sold it. Even though I do not have that car anymore, I will always remember my roots.
Some people have situations where they can not afford to constantly repair and older car since our cars are between 15-18 years old. Older cars come with constant attention. I've gone through it and most of us gone through it. I'm pretty sure that most of us also felt like giving up on the car...
-I for example fall into a category as a person with no real job, and in need of a less maintenence car.... my cb at the time reached its pinnacle during the nisei era last year. Ever since then, my car just went down hill...My costly repairs were exceeding more then what I make ontop of having other bills. It just sucks not to have a car to drive when you have one at home decommissioned.
-If I had the money to burn I would buy and build another cb ground up. Nothing satisfies me more then seeing people admiring my piece of art. Having the sense of accomplishment and vouches from fellow tuners is the best feeling. These the CBs arn't represented well in the market but a few of us were able to make an impact. It helps that the tuner/magazine industry is located in Socal, so we do have an advantage in popularity.

Back to SOCAL....
There will always be members comming and going, personally I stay here because you guys are my friends. I have other accounts on forums, but I rather not make more friends cause I am content here.
As I said earlier we started as a small group..Usually when groups get too big, there is tension. The young cats don't like the older cats, noobs don't like the OGs. shit happens...
my rant.....but an informative one
Not trying to be big headed here....but I DO feel like I play a big part of the structure of socal. I took the initiation....the responsibilites...organizing the meets....to regulating the rules and enforcing them.
personally, most of you guys know i am sarcastic, funny, a shit talker; but an honest person....i know i dont like everyone here and i know that not everyone likes me either...I honestly dont expect everyone to like me. I only become an asshole unless I have to. I hate to rain on peoples parade, i hate to have to tell people to stop acting the way they are sometimes. Some people think what they do is funny, but others dont think so. When people IM/PM/CALL me that someones being stupid and i should do something, i am open to ideas. This goes out to everyone...Not to target wilson, but we all know he's had some issues. I know im a jerko to him, but he knows how to accept it too. He doesnt have to like me and i know that. as long as we keep the drama to a minimal then theres no problem. It doesnt mean im still gonna be a dick to him in person cause i leave that all in the forums...
im just enforcing things....just like cops...most people do not like them, but what are cops for? to protect you and other people...so comming from my side of the spectrum, i hope people get a generalization on what i have to go through. if you guys noticed..i do not disrepect anyone here. I will make you look stupid though in retaliation of something stupid you did. There is a fine line between honest opinions and bashing. I WILL NOT TOLERATE your immatureness (meet bashing, thread bashing, car bashing etc)thats my way of getting you back!Last edited by GHOST 2.2; 04-04-2008, 08:14 PM.

well just to let you know my car might be missing in action but its under heavy duty construction and working 2 jobs kinda shorts out my time on working on it which is basically on the weekends but none the less i have no intentions in selling or parting out my CB it might be only a year of me having the car but its something i bought with my earned money and fixed up without the help of my parents thats why they dont say nothing about my car or ask me why i spend so much money in it all i get is compliments from my parents my mom actually likes its and says it runs great and smooth my dad says the same thing but yea i rather take my time doing things right then to rush and fuck it all up so sooner or later my cb will come out of hiding

LOL omg foo's you should have said nothing, I was keeping quite cus I hoped wilson would part out and never post here again ROFLLL, j/k.
Ricardo: I don't think the cb's are falling off, just cus a couple OG sold there cars, just means new BG's can step up, plus I'm here and honestly you guys haven't seen shit yet I'm gonna be coming hard this year for cb's so just watch out.
Jed: Great post man, when it comes to Wilson that foo just makes me laugh at how much he post's, its just like goddamn man, Wilson your the homie but damn why post so much? Go get some head from your girl or something LOL. I mean Jed your comment and Ricardo's comment, sprung from his comment about trying to hook up a car that will be way more difficult to get parts for and fix than a cb, we all know he won't do it, but he posts it anyways. But we need you Jed to make sure shit doesn't get out of hand, and for that I thank you.Last edited by dwnhillCB791; 04-04-2008, 07:37 PM.Socal Alliance Represent
