im stuck with my dad for 2 weeks because my mom went on an emergency trip to see her dad in the philippines. Sucks for me because my mom is the only person who can keep him sane. My dad will be cool with it for a few days, then he just gets really irritated. which i dont wanna be around cause he knows ill give him some shit as well. im such a good son.

i would go with the black and gold approach, since i have some sort of fetish for gold with black or gold with white for some reason.
