I need to replace my AC o-rings too. do i need to get the factory o-rings or can i use the kit they sell at Kragen/Autozone?

I want to get my a/c recharged since it isn't that cold. How much does a leak test and recharge cost anyways?

I checked all the vac lines and it was fine, but I noticed the PCV valve had a crack on it and sure enough I broke it when I took off the strut bar. I'll fix that tomorrow while I'm changing the starter.

johnny, the kit from autozone will work great, i am using that one as well,


i believe we charge about 40 bucks to recharge the a/c at the shop, we first recover any freon that is there. after that the machine vacuum test it. a/c is charge and dye applied to see if. do quote me on that though.

Word thanks, I was trying to come down to sd to pick the car up, but I hit that foo up but he hasn't hit me back yet. I went all over la today trying to get a new car cus rental is HELLA expensive, found a beat up ae86 but was to much $, a clean black FC, but the guy was in chi-town and everyone else I hit up hasn't replied back, damn labor day.

Already passed smog, so I don't need that cleaning anymore. I didn't think it would pass, but it passed with flying colors.

At this point, i can send the car to paint already. It was worked on yesterday. Thanks for the help finding stuff wilson. But i might go a different 'version' this time. From a 'battle wagon' look (as i was told by someone), to a less aggressive z non sporty look. U guys get the idea.
