I want the AC jack from ultimate garage, but those things carry a heavy price tag. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative.

Thats whats in my garage right now, the low profile craftsman is broken though.

Snapped right when my car was in the air.

it snapped when the car was on jackstands. It took forever to figure out how to get the car off though.

Damn that sucks man. One reason why I cannot go out and buy a craftsman jack is because I'm worried I might get a bad batch. There is a time and place for errors, now is not it. I like a lot of Sears jack when it's working, but I can't risk it. I really like that SUV jack though. It lifts easily because of it's huge hydraulic, but it's not low enough!!

I have the jack from costco... I think it was 99 bucks. Its nice and sits low... I have neuspeed race springs, and there is plenty of clearance. I used to have to drive on bricks or wood, but no mo! what a time saver! It takes approximately 5-6 pumps to get the car to the highest lift point. Not bad in my book. Only thing I dont like about it is that the handle is two piece and when I grab on the end I feel like I could bend/or break that sucker.

                  Paul

                  Sold, but not forgotten.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the 2 piece pipes. That was what I didn't like about the harbor freight stuff. I had clearence issues with the craftsman low profile on a neuspeed race drop.

I still use my dads 1 1/2 ton jack that he got like 20 years ago. Not sure what brand it is but it's built like a tank. My jack stands are also 20+ years old.

Speaking of OEM scissor jacks, does anyone know if the dealer still carries them? Mine F'ed up years ago from lifting the car on dirt and I wanna new one.

I need the oem tire iron if anyone wants to sell that. It's kind of hard to use the oem jack without it.

That hill doesn't look safe to work on johnny.
