    Yeah, your boat of a car did do that... If it makes you feel better the stock springs on the si broke the 2 1/4ton jack. It snapped the hydraulic right off when they collided.

          i use that silver walmart jack, lol...its worked fine as long as i drive up on a 2 inch round brick

                  I just used craftsman oil on their jacks, but I couldn't tell you if it was good or not.

                        if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Sometimes new oil can mess up the seals that are working perfectly now.

                            I changed to synthetic oil on my old car with 150k miles. No leaks or burn


                            As long as it has anti-rust, antioxident, etc than you're good to go. This includes the Crapsman, Henkal Loctite, Pennzoil's Penzbell, Permatex and hell, even the Coastal one works fine.
