car stolen tonight

I don't know how I got so lucky, but my car was recovered by police @ 10:45 pm last night, after being reported at 9:30 pm last night. it was found down off market street i believe or L street, not really sure i got to wait for the police report. But yeah I got the phone call @ 5 am this morning, and had to pick it up in San Diego @ this tow yard by Coronado bridge. All that was stolen was my cd's, two blue tooth headsets, and other misc personal items. My ignition and door keyholes are messed up, but thank god it was found in one piece. The Tow Yard attendant was seriously amazed that it was in one piece and nothing cosmetic was stolen. Not sure why they stole my car or what they were after, because the thieves didnt even steal the two brand new cusco strut tower bars that were sitting in the trunk.. They did however steal a can of Roofing Tar i had in my trunk so i guess they had a leaky roof.. Thanks again for all the supportive replies, and phone calls everyone, i'll keep you updated on getting her back to the condition where she was.. I will take the proper precautions to prevent this from happening again..

I remember when my cousins prelude was stolen. It use to be red and when he got it back it was black. I still don't get how you can set a car on fire in downtown LA and no one notices you walking away.

When my cb was stolen, they left their shit in the car and stole my sisters stuff. They took it from Huntington Beach to Compton. The police only found it because it was getting a parking ticket.

Yo, a quick question for yah. Is it going to be a reconstructed title? If im not mistaken your insurance will need to inspect it before you can drive it again under your policy. The fact that someone you didnt give permission to drove your car (most likely much harder than it was designed to be driven) and can be damaged in ways that might not surface for acouple months. Usualy cars get that wonderful reconstructed designation on the title after being stolen sence the insurance company isnt going to want to pay for the real value of your car if you get in a accident sence its probly been damaged from being stolen.
This is why i carry theft protection on my car and keep every recept for parts Ive put on it so I get my money back if someone does steal it. Even if all they take is the stereo it SHOULD BE considered totaled if it was moved at all. Then you get your insurance money and the insurance company offers to sell the car back to you with a reconstructed title... with all the shit you had in it ( that didnt get striped at the impound yard).

lol mr wilson, my name is bien, not binh. yes i have every dam tools just for a honda to take apart and no i dont steal any cars, i buy them and them give them away. i been handling hondas since 1991. good stuff only minor crap was taken, but long or someone said if it was an asian guy that shit woudl be stripped lol. i didnt knwo asians strip cars but i guess its only in cali, in fl asians drive their mom camery or a lexus

Werd.. couple asian guys stole my car and another cb.. i actually got to chase them down in my friends mazda6. . i felt like need for speed most wanted but i was the cop. I'm sure they were gonna strip both the cars too .. fuqin asian! lol.

i'm glad u got ur car back.. and the majority of the things are in place. Now that i have a new cb .. my number one prioty/mods are security mods. . . since u have removable steeriing wheel .. remove it, even if it's just thrown in the back seat.. lol i do anything to detour theives now. ..

update:
Car was appraised today by an Allstate Appraiser, and they're going to cover basically everything that was messed up. So other then getting my car back to its original condition, I will be beefing up my security system and then im done with my car.. Thanks for the support guys..
