1st. why is the post archived?
2nd. A cop can fuck you over in a heartbeat. My accord had a Bar sticker on it and i still got a bar ticket go figure.. A Cop can have no clue about your car mods, but his ticket stands..
3rd. cali smog isnt hard to pass and yes jdm motors do pass..
4th stop driving like an asshole, and take your ricer wing/stickers off..

That exemption is for alternative fuel vehicles. So I call BS. No way that can be legal unless you actually are running an alternative fuel...like propane or whatever. Who would do that with their swap?

Is that air boost valve really neccessary for BAR? Visually I mean? Cause I don't think it does a damn thing to improve emmisions except at startup when the engine is cold.

for the visual it is i think, i believe when timmy did his he posted that the they didn't look for it so i guess they missed it, but since its on the usdm one, then i believe that he would look for it

he charged 400 per 240, and i think it was 300 for the teg, but this was like a year ago when we had it done for my friends.

Maybe some other bar'd people here can chime in on this? I think the ref's would most likely miss it, since they see so many different engines all the time.

The swap is going slowly but surely, waiting on parts and what not
Still need my cb7 as a daily driver right now, so the actual swap won't happen till I get some time off work.
