no doubt that many of those cars have useful parts including some that are JDM. cops should take them off and have a sale beforehand. that sucks though that the whole car is being crushed.

I think its a good idea. Whenever someone buys a part that is stolen (whether you know its stolen or not), you are just encouraging the act, and making the whole cycle go around. By making the car owners fearful of having the whole car crushed if you happened to get a stolen motor will make more people confirm the origins of motors and parts.
