Ok so I have a problem out of no where, I'm pretty sure its the rack and pinion I had installed, I started hearing this wierd ass sound and by the time I got to work my damn power steering was gone and the damn power steering belt had fallin off when I tried to park =/, so I'm not sure whats wrong only that I have this wierd ass sound coming out from where the rack and pinion is on the driver side. Maybe a bearing came lose? or maybe something wasn't bolted correctly? Anyone have any idea's how this would have happened?

if your belt is off, the rack isnt getting fluid, hence why that is why your hearing those weird ass sounds.
Maybe your power steering pump froze, because power steering belts hardly ever fall off on their own..

Cool thanks for the 411 craig, I took it to the compa's and they checked it out and said the pulley(for the rack?) had gone bad. You know the lower pulley at the bottom that connects the ps belt to the ps unit/pulley. So anyways they said that's expensive to replace, I'm not really sure what's up though. The pulley they removed is the one on the driver side and if you look at the wheel whell you can see the pulley. What pulley is that? And is it really expensive to replace? Guy said it would cost 2 bills+labor =/

You talking about the crank pulley? the one the alternator belt connects to? If so the part might be a little pricey, maybe ask josue or jesus to double check it for you..

sounds like a bad harmonic balancer. hit up noel for his or the junkyard. and it isn't expensive to replace it at all. if they charge too much, just hit up me or jesus. I'm sure we'll charge way less than them.

here's what the shop charged me exactly 3yrs ago..

                Parts:
                new crank pulley $168.00

                Labor:
                change crank pulley $30.00
                check timing belt $50.00

yea.. it's that same crank pulley in the garage.. it only had 10-15k miles on the pulley before i had an engine swapped, so i got it for spare..

Can you use the same crank pulley from an f22 on a h22? The guys was saying that since its from a prelude motor the pulley will cost extra, but I rather pay noel way less than 2 bills for a used one. Pm me asap if I can use that pulley.

I need to run colder spark plugs on my H22. I would prefer to use NGK. Do you guys know the part numbers, and where to buy?

                              Thanks in advance!

i believe your local pepboys has the NGK plugs. it's just one of the numbers in the part number changes to indicate a colder plug. search around or just ask the dude at the counter.
