so after getting a code 41 check engine light code, i decided to replace it with a different o2 sensor that i had laying around. Now my car runs like SHIET.
Trouble codes are 3 and 41.
i replaced the map sensor with one from a spare euro r manifold i have in my toolbox, but still get the same results.. My car wont rev past 3,000 rpms. any help is greatly appreciated.

well, I'm also dealing with an ek with a gsr swap with the similar problem. he took it to the whole town to try to fix it, and no luck, then he finally took it to me. I told him, give me three weeks, I'll work on it on my own time. he replaced the map sensor already too, and still no luck.

When an o2 sensor goes bad, you would normally have the same feeling as you are experiencing. I would put a know good o2 in. hit up gerald for his.

fixed yet?? the ek that I am working on is now fixed. this is what I did, repaired rodent damage at the ecu connector, valve adj, ign. timing, dist. cap and rotor. I think that it was a combinations of things with my problems. but the main problem was the bad dist. rotor and cap. check those things on your car. good luck.

haha.. Naw I havent worked on it since i posted my problems. I seriously think my problem is at the Jumper Harness since it was on its last leg. I'm pretty sure I don't have a rodent problem, well hopefully i don't, I guess its a sign for me to complete some other tasks on the car since i cant drive it anymore.. Good to hear you fixed those problems Josue..

I would imagine poor connections/solder joints

When i did my swap, no one really made quality jumper harnesses for my car.. Even to this day a quality Jumper Harness is hard to come by..

Also i take out my ecu at the gym, work and what not.. so just over time shiet gets old and starts wearing out..

yeah i see conversion harness to go DOWN OBDs not up like ballin craig over here haha. you just have to go one by one and see if they're making contact with the ECU pins. you're gangsta to be removing the ECU all the time, but after one theft i'd do the same thing. dayam thieves!

I see now. bad contacts at the end of the connectors are really hard to find. the best way is what tim suggested.
