    What the heck happened NOW???

    DIFFERENT PROBLEM:

    This is what I did:

    - Disconnected the battery cables
    - Took out the fuses from driver side fuse box
    - Took out the star screws
    - Removed air bag
    - Took out the 2 plastic covers from the steering wheel
    - Took out the SRS module
    - Put on the Prelude steering wheel, screwed it on
    - Put fuses back
    - Connected battery cables

I DIDN'T DO ANY REWIRING with the wire that was on the Prelude steering wheel, now my problem is that my car WON'T TURN ON. It will "crank" but it won't turn on, what the hell?

Yes sir, disconnected them again and put them back on tighter than before. I"ll go check all the fuses right now.

EDIT: Which fuses would it be?

It works! Yeah! My dumbass put the fuses back in the wrong spots, haha.

But...I took off the steering wheel and I'm confused...how am I going to hook up the 'Lude steering wheel? Do the 1988 steering wheels fit on my 1993?

i've seen people have it on their cars. I remember hearing how they had to take off the back of the prelude steering wheel to have it fit.

I would go that route also but I need my detachable for paranoia reasons.

                Oh ok, cool.

I'm stuck, I can't seem to unscrew the screws underneath the plastic cover to the steering wheel

Does anyone know what cable off my CB7 would I have to connect to the Prelude steering wheel? All I see is a long yellow cable coming off my CB7 and nothing else.

I had installed the steering wheel and connected everything back when I tried to turn on my car and it wouldn't turn on

                        Anyone?

Oh and do our cars have "shut-off switches/valves"?

My battery sounds like it's going to die

I still have no spark, just crank

sounds like an alternator. and as for your yellow wire, it is only used for srs system which I believe the steering wheel you installed does not have them. I would just leave that disconnected, you should be fine.

Thanks, I'll check that out right now, I need this car fixed ASAP, I got my old job back and they want me to start on FRIDAY.

Oh and that means when I install the steering wheel I shouldn't have to connect anything right?
