    ok so i had a meeting this morning so i was up early as hell and didnt have work til the afternoon, so i went in the garage with my homie and we went all over the intake manifold and surrounding areas.

    turns out the plug on the egr was not plugged in all the way, im wondering if it was unplugged when i was changing out the coolant line for whatever reason (my friend that was givin me a hand may have done it). i also changed the vss.

    well after adjusting the idle, plugging necessary holes, ive got it runnin 95% normal.

    now ive got a flashing d4 and no speedo, so im thinking, the reason it was idling all wierd as hell is the egr plug was not clicked in all the way and as for the no speedo and flashing d4, i think since i plugged it in that its sending the wrong signals. and if i got the plugs switched around (since they are the same) that would explain the gauges.

    it drives great otherwise tho, im going to be doing a lot of work on it now since im in my own place and me n my homie got a 2 car garage.

    and probably after xmas im going to put on my coilovers and do my bushings since i cant afford the shit with all my bills right now and i can just ask for $$ or for the stuff from the family.

    thanks for the help tho it definately helped guys. always help get me thinkin in the right direction.

    im gunna tackle the plugs tomorrow and see if that helps with the speedo... hopefully its not the ecu or tcu.

    also.. i forgot, im throwin the CEL for atmospheric pressure and something else i forget.. 10 and 13. i may have asked you guys already but its 3am, ive drank a lot of jager and smoked a lot of weed from a large peice lol. im out!

      I think your egr plug and your vss plugs are identical. double check them.

        Anyone know the thread pitch of the rear shock mount bolt? I'm guessing it is M10x1.25, but if any of you guys know...

          maybe? that's the same pitch as the honda exhaust bolts i just bought.

            after long and I installed my neuspeed bar, my car makes a humming noise when accelerating. I ziptied my power steering to some electrical line and it went away, but sometimes it comes back. What am i doing wrong?

            Oh yeah, swapped out my o2 sensor for one of davids, i still get a code--so it's the wiring, or is davids broken too?

              I need 3 bolts to hook up my new cat converter, since there are no studs on the flange. Anyone know where to get these?

                  I just bought 3 OEM bolts from honda that were ment for bolting the cat to the B pipe but then i realized that i was short the 3 bolts that connected from the header so i just ran to Home Depot and bought some 10x1.25 nuts and bolts. Make sure you buy lock nuts or at least some Loctite.

                      anyone know if i can get the wiring that the o2 sensor plugs into from an ex at a junkyard and swap it in to mine so I dont have to solder. I'm not sure what else that bundle of wires by the distributor goes to, but is it possible to just replace all that wiring from an ex so I can get an oem working harness.

                        wilson you would have to replace to whole engine harness in order to not have to solder.

                          jesus I just got a presure switch dude, get this brand new for 35 bucks, they only had one and since I was cool with my old shopforeman thier he gave me his discount, I wanted to get the manifold gasket so I cane clean my egr ports, but they didnt have the gaskest

                            thats cool jason, if it doesn't fix your problem. bring it down here man. i guarantee it will be taken care off. i fixed mine a couple of weeks ago, but i have a code 12 back again, so i have to figure that one out

                              same here dude i still have a code 12, Im thinkin the only other option is clean my intake manifold ie.. egr ports or change my ecu

                                My passenger side power window sometimes stops working Not sure if this would be a short somewhere in the wiring, or the motor going out. It happens kind of sporatic, and doesn't matter which switch I use, or how high the window is. It will stop working, then when I try it a few minutes later, it works again.
