My muffler is really messed up...(need help)
A week ago I backed into the street curb and my muffler was pushed in, so apart from it starting to fall off, the pipe was bent and now its extremely low. Whenever I have more than 4 people (thats including me) in my car the pipe itself scratches.
My question is, are there any shops near Alhambra that will fix or replace the pipes? I wouldn't mind keeping the muffler tip, I just want to get the pipe fixed so it won't keep scratching anymore. I'm not to sure how much this should be but I'm trying not to spend too much since all I'm getting currently from my job are disability checks and it isn't that much.
(I'll post pictures later so you guys can get a better idea of what I'm talking about)

electronics question
Don't know much about the electro world.
Anyhoo, I was looking at simple switches at Radio Shack, and they were rated at like 3V or 6V, if I remember correctly. So If I want to install a fuel or spark kill switch by tapping into a wire, does it matter what the voltage rating is? My meager knowledge tells me that the battery is 12V, and all the wires on the car are rated in Amps. So I'm basically confused.

Help! Somethings F'd up with my car!
Ok my car is fucked up somewhere. I really have no clue what it is! So after work i was heading out to my parents house in the San Gabriel Valley where i work on my car from my Apt. on the Westside. The rattle in my exhaust became worse and then my car started to bog down and almost totally lose all power as i'm traveling on the freeway. I'm able to limp off the freeway and pull over in a strip mall to check my car. It seems to idle fine and creep forward normally but as i put my foot on the gas it bogs down heavily. I start limping home at 20 mph (top speed) and i try to gun it as i'm making a left turn at an intersection. All of a sudden i hear something POP followed by the sound of air escaping and my car suddenly has full power again. So i'm like WTF! My car actually seems to have more power than it's had in the past 4 years. I still have no idea what that POP was and can't see any lose vacuum tubes anywhere. If anyone has any idea what the hell it might be give me a PM.
