The IE guys should just stick to the original plan and just meet up one night to take pictures. The best time for a photoshoot is during the middle of the week because parking structures in the mall aren't full with customer's cars.

So when do we wanna do this? I do agree that we need to just do this instead of trying to make it convenient for everyone. It's impossible to pull everyone together with such short notice.

I think we should stick to original plan, June 2nd. Although I'm fine with any day after 5pm. Or any weekend except labor day. For anyone who can't make it, there is always other times.

JR college is a good idea, you can get the GE out of the way for way cheeper than at the university, and just transfer. Thats what I did. As long as you don't take a bunch of classes that you don't need.

There is pretty good money in Auto mechanics, but it would be sweeter to have your own shop. Because even though the money is pretty good for the dealership techs, the work will get old after awhile. If you talk to the old timers making the big money, who have been doing it for 20 years, they will all say they are tired of turning wrenches. At least that's what I hear from my sister, who worked for Chrysler 10 years in the finance department.

cool then jun 2 it is

exactly what i was thinking, jr college then transfer to a 4 year.

i hear that a lot from tech, they are tired of turning wrenches, it does it old after a while, hell last summer i was tired of it, but this is something i really want to do, a shop is a great idea and have had it in my mind for a while, but i will have to save up quite a bit of money for me to do so. or get a loan. but one day i will, a couple of friends have said their parents might be opening up a tire shop, so maybe one day i can help them manage that or become a business partner

if you want to become a tech, that is up to you. it is cool at first, then you start to see all the bullshit and fucken politics that are involved in a lot of shops. the shop that I currently work in sucks really bad. I guess that is what happens when you are the new guy and work too damn fast and actually fixing cars. JEALOUSY plays a big role in my shop. FTP (fuck that place) if you enjoy fixing cars, go for it, if you like school, go for it. remember, school isn't for everyone. But it would be great to have an education and work in a cool office and not getting dirty. good luck in life. if you ever need any advice or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I may not have all the answers but I can be of an assistant.

yeah i actually don't enjoy school at all, just autoshop class cause i am the"shop foreman" and can work on whatever i want so thats always good

i am well aware of the politics in the shops, so far i have worked at two shops, both when i started the other techs were dicks, i was actually doing my work and not having any comebacks, while they were messing around. but yeah jealosy always comes into play especially at dealerships, i internshiped at jeep chrysler of ontario and it was very obvious there. it sucks but that just they way it is. i really don't give a fuck about other people hating on me cause they make less money then me. thats their problem, maybe one day i will be working alongside you joe that would be awsome. thanks for the advice man

no problem. just got back from penske for the interview. If I do get a job there, I am going to have to really focus, because they are a very high standard dealership. I mean HONDA PRESIDENT'S AWARD 8 years in a row??!! Damn!!!!!!!!!! I got intiminated, but my trainer know the team leader there. And my wife told me " why would my trainer recommend me if he knew that I wasn't good enough?" So I said fuck it, I'll go for it. Guess what, I told my shop foreman "FUCK YOU" yesterday after he raised his fucken voice at me and used foul language. yeah, I know that I might not have a job tomorrow, but fuck it, I cannot respect a shop foreman who says," I am the shop foreman, I can do whatever I want." No respect from me. fuck dat. But yeah, in the future, I am looking forward to be working with you. and you too Tony. Don't worry, I could never forget about you.

it was very difficult trying to get in, even an interview was lucky. I guess my background in the past, when I was young and dumb, they looked into that and actually did not want to hire me. But fortunately, the team leader met me at school last month in Torrance and he also knows the person, who trained me, for around 20 years. I got very lucky. where is the shop you work at now?? Is it pretty close to Penske??
