hey sd. if you guys want we can set up meets at the speedalliance shop off of clairmont. grant (the guy who sold me the car i have now) works at the shop and he said that he wants to host accord meets there. but since most of us sd guys lurk ill mostlikely give you guys a phone call.

hey guys im probably gonna host a meet probably mid april at my pad.

im plannin to do the swap while hosting the meet so if anyone that wants to learn how to swap an h22 or we can do a DIY picture detailed swap.

my car is starting to give me that shaking under accleration problem again so i gotta attack it before it gets worse.

since san diego is a huge area we'll set up 2 check points. 1 for the north sd heads and 1 for the south sd heads.


north sd heads will meet up at mcdonalds parking lot off oceanside blvd.

the south sd heads will meet at the costco off market st. then'll we'll roll up to meet with the north sd heads and do any last minute shopping at the vons thats there before we head to aliso creek

NORTHERN SD
You guys should be at the spot by 12:30 Park next to McDonalds not in Mcdonalds.

SOUTHERN SD
Meet up at costco off market street by 11:30. Then we'll roll out by 11:45 to catch up with the North SD heads.

Then by 12:45 we should head out there to the meet!

This should be a good meet.

I'm having the same exact problem, can anyone tell me whats wrong with the rack&pinion, and how do I fix this problem????? Thanks.

it was his axle not his rack and pinon.. Jed knows how to change AXLES now..

sometimes! haha.

yea it was the axles. i had to go through 3 of them just to find one that doesnt break!

what you can do is lift up the car on both sides at the front.

have a second person step on the gas while you go under the car and see if theres any shaking around the axles. if it is, its probably a bad axle.

that was my case.

i have no experience with rack and pinions though there is a diy for it. if you dont wanna do it or pay for it at the shop you can ask RAMIRO aka arrozburner. he has done the rack and pinion replacement and he is in LA.

grant helps run the shops and hes been asking me to have us come by there and chill whenever.

so if anyones down to have a night meet at speed alliance just say so on this thread. its been awhile guys!
