Not many of you know this, but a tragic accident happened over the weekend at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. A member of the Loi-Spec Garage is in critical condition and a loss of a friend. Jayden Lam was out on the race track when he lost control of his car and crashed head on into the watch tower on turn 11. Jayden was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition and placed in a medically induced coma. He had fractured his whole nasal area on his face and had to undergo facial reconstructive surgery. During the crash Jayden girlfriend Chelsea Vu was sitting passenger during the session. Unfortunately she was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:30am on Sunday. We lost a beautiful young talented soul that day.

We have set up a site for donations to help Chelsea family and Jayden with the mounting medical cost. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will go a long way.

I made a small donation but I hope it helps. It's tragic that stuff like this happens but it's nice to know she had people who cared for her. I'll definitely keep them both in my prayers.
