Cali Accord Meet: 06.08.2013

Hello again, everyone

It is with great pleasure that we greet you all with the kickoff to our second annual summer gathering in Southern California. Before going any further we can not thank you enough for your support and are extremely grateful that we are part of not only the Honda community, but more specifically, the Accord community!

2012 marked the first summer annual Cali Accord Meet, which was a success thanks to you all, and it far exceeded our expectations! We had enthusiasts from Hawaii, Washington, Nevada, Texas, Canada, and even as far as Japan in attendance. This year not only do we expect more guests, but most importantly, more Accord enthusiasts! We look forward to meeting new friends, catching up with those we met last year, and taking a look at everyone's Accord.

That sounds like a great idea, Hostile. Bring them to the meet as well since it will be at a park and is next to a playground area for kids.

make it a 2 stop meet. one west coast and one east coast. lol if i came that far i'd have to tow mine. i refuse to slow down for every bridge so i wont scrape! hope its a good turn out.

We actually had two people drive out from Houston last year and they have confirmed that they will again be making it out this year. Should you be interested in joining them, I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

I understand. There is supposed to be someone coming from Georgia this year. Last year, our friend who drove from Quebec, Canada raised his car to drive all the way out here and back.

Yeah luckily this was the day before eibach last year.. Hope it's like that thos year too!

Had fun seeing the cars and having mine one of them. This time I know better than a week before it happens and can get the new wagon kinda up to it. Just got it so I can't throw $ this soon into it...But it will be an eye pleasing stock.
Wicket...in time find a friend to drive the other. Don't worry too much about the other event, I've been to it and- way too crowded, too many cops, long lines for bathroom, no place for kids or to sit...and worse of all....just about all the cars were Civics and nothing 4th generation as far as Accords went. Also I made zero friends. At Cali I, being old enough to be all your dads, made some friends. Ate a few good tacos and sat under a nice tree.

I'll be surprised if Eibach is on the same day considering they have always had it on a Sunday. Ours will be on a Saturday. Last year it worked out perfectly that Eibach was the next day because those from out of state could really make a weekend out of it, but with Eibach, they don't announce their date till much later in the year. We on the other hand have had the date in mind since before C.A.M. 2012. Either way, we hope it all works out for you.
