If you could list the cities close to Ingelwood as i'm not from Cali yet i'm on Craigslist everyday i'd be more than happy to look through the pages and see if I can find something. I hate for something like this to happen. To me even though my car looks like shit I consider it almost the same as a child of mine. If I had a teg like that it would be even worse. I'm one of those guys that would end up being divorced because I spend too much with my car or talk about it too much. sucks to see that. im sure those thieves were eyeballin that car for awhile. my ex gf had a db8 with a type r conversion. i slept over at her house one night, and my car was blocking her car on the driveway. i left at 6 in the morning and she called me at 6:15 saying that someone just stole her car. she got it back a week later with no motor, no seats, no wheels, no front end.

you might want to investigate the area where the car is found, because normally thieves cant drive a car looking like that for more than one or 2 blocks.

also, whether you like it or not... you'd have to accept the fact that if you drive a civic or integra, expect it to be stolen. Its just a matter of time.

Well on craigslist it's just Los Angeles, Orange County, IE, and Ventura that would be search able. Im going to be on the look out as well, but jdm front ends are a dime a dozen, only thing that could help distinguish the car is when I find out what tires she had on her replicas.

I wasn't tying to discourage you Wilson. I was being honest and telling u how it is when a nice car like that gets stolen. Trust me, one of my nephews car was found in same
condition as your sisters car and my other nephews civic was stripped and burned to the ground. These people do know what they doing and they ain't stupid enough to sell it on craigslist. Probably true, but they hit up her car in a place she never really normally goes to, so they couldnt case her. I have a feeling she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, because they were looking for a car to snatch and just saw her clutch lock and thought it was an easy steal. They bent the clutch pedal to take off the autolock, but the steering column was intact, not even the ignition switch was pulled out. Shaved key for the lose..

Yea owning a civic, and integra is probably nerve racking. I always thought it was a miracle her car hadn't even been attempted to be stolen in the past with where she parks it sometimes, but that's done. Plans to get a CR-V or a beater eg6.

oh well.

She has full coverage so..5k KBB value, plus receipts for 1500 paint job, 1500-2k OEM metal jdm front end, 700-800 for her reps with tires, HIDs...etc etc. Hopefully get an even 8-9k out of this.
