Like I posted and will say again...after you park, pop the hood, pop the fuse cover quietly off, and pull the 10 amp fuse to the ECU. (make sure you hide what you're doing under the hood) It's a hassle till you install alarm and kill, but you'll sleep good knowing it's safe.

Instead of popping the hood every time, could we wire a kill switch to the fuse and use that inside the car? More convenient? Or even mount the switch inside the wheel well. Less likely the thief will think the switch is there.
