if we want it in sd, it's always packed everywhere you go in SD. especially in the summer. and I'll suggest that the SD guys chime in on a good spot then. how bout south shores right before sea world? I use to party there all the time in the parking lots dropping EX...... never mind. but yeah, south shores will b a good place.

ha na but we should get a get together on and check it out and take pics so we can let the leader of this thread see and show that this place is good. just a suggestion so people know whats up and not heading in a blank direction.

I'll b in sd tomorrow. Around scripps ranch. But I'm down to go to south shores if someone has a camera.

Sounds like a good idea, but don't exhaust yourself looking for an ideal place. I'm thinking a poll would push in favor of a meet in the South LA area.
I'm additionally worried about turboAccordHSF's wife. Pregnant + long drive is a very bad idea.

EDIT: Never mind. I read through the newer posts, and it looks like a good amount of people wouldn't mind a drive to SD. I'll make the poll over the next few days to determine location.

My cousin made it to Cali from Kansas when she was seven months pregnant. Her 3 other kids aged 6, 4, & 3 road tripped with her too.

Maybe it is. Like I said, it's the parking area right before sea world and it has a shore and a picnic table and I believe a fire pit too.

edit: if u take friars road to sea world dr., make left, then a right at mission bay pkwy. look up south shores. trust me, that place shouldn't b busy at all. look it up on google maps.

wow i guess the trip took two months?.....its not too far bro its just that my wife is due around the same week the meet is so its kinda hard to drive there with that possible fact that she'll give birth and i'll miss it......but Count ME IN!!!...i'm down to go to SD just gonna have to keep my cell on blast just in case Contractions kick in!!!!...but hey i still want a poll to be done and we'll make things work!....

Oh, I guess I misunderstood. I thought you'd be bringing her along (thats why I was concerned).

Instead of making a poll, how about we just set the meet in SD? It sounds like most people are enthusiastic about it.

well we have to hurry so we can begin doing the food list and a caravan location and all the final details that always take forever... i cant wait. well we have almost only a month and a half and the final month is always the hadrest cause we always get the drop outs and the last minutes show ups....

please if youre going to show up without signing up atleast show up with food of some sort or drinks... not being an ass just making it fair...

good point. Sorry for the delay in creating a location poll. So far Ski Beach and South Shores, both in San Diego, have been suggested. Both places look great on Google Maps. Does anyone have any last suggestions before I start a poll thread?

I'll create the food thread and location poll thread on Thursday 6PM.
New location suggestions will be added to the poll IF they are submitted before Thursday 6PM (May 13).
