i'm running neuspeed sport springs too and yes they are just like stock with a decent drop on my wagon but i've ran my fair share of coilovers.
currently i'm on omnipower coilovers, decent for the track but nonadjustable dampening. you can slam it though, on frame if need be. function forms do the same thing, type-1s but if you want adjustablility on dampening, type-2s are cool. function forms are prolly the cheapest and easiest to find. all the rest like megan, ksport, d2 fall under the same category as far as performance and use. prices vary.
tein are prolly the best for our chassis out of the box, bolt-on. only reason i don't like them is b/c you can't slam the car. same with tanabe sustec. you can always try and custom fit prelude coilovers, which they have more variety.
hope that helps!
