    Number 1 Stolen Car

    Los Angeles Times Link

Just a reminder to all of us to make sure our CBs stay locked, and ideally parked in safe locations.

It's not like this is new to our chassis and I'm glad that there aren't more thefts reported in this sub forum, but we need to continue to keep our guards up.

    Good luck guys!

They do these "Top __ stolen cars" on like a bi-weekly basis...

We drive older, "easy-to-steal" Hondas....we should know what we're getting into.

Yeah and the Accord is always up there. My point remains that while this isn't new information, we need to stay careful.

Btw, how's a '89 Camry over an Integra?

That picture of a '89 Camry was actually a pic of a Cressida I think. It definately wasn't a Camry.

Yeah. I see it as a way to either scare people away from them; give theives a heads-up or it just brings us down.

                  Either way, its still

GPS sensors in the car work better than lo jack if you intend on finding the thief yourself. You can even set it up to send you text messages when your car drives away or hits a certain speed.

Are these GPS sensors specifically for theft recovery purposes?
Or are they the standard sensors that are also used in Navi systems?

Nope, its actually a rigged setup made from prepaid cell phones that are reprogrammed, hidden, and hardwired into the car.
