Speed Ventures: Buttonwillow Raceway 05/30/09 Recap

As some of you know, I had another track day on Saturday at Buttonwillow. It was my first time at this track. It was badass. That's all I could say.

1st Session:
- Took it easy and learned the course
Fastest Time: 2:38.xxx

2nd Session:
- Started to get used to the track
- RA1s started to get stickier due to rising surface temperature
Fastest Time: 2:39.xxx

3rd Session:
- Girlfriend rode shotgun (Proud of her!)
- Went in too hot at the last corner and almost went off track
Fastest Time: 2:32.xxx

4th Session:
- Battled with an E46 M3 (Passed it after corner exit and left him) :mrgreen:
Fastest Time: 2:26.xxx

Thoughts:
Saturday was a very long and tiring day. But after running at Buttonwillow all day, it was all worth it. I love this track. It challenges the driver to push it to the limit. Maybe more. It definitely showed me what I can do, also what the DB8 can do. With more seat time and modifications on the DB8, I should be able to shave off more seconds off my lap time. Thank you Buttonwillow, you made me fall in love with my DB8 all over again. :thumbs up

No. Just the track entrance fee, which is $10.
