very depressing times 16,8,16.9 then a effin 17. A effin 17 my f22a1 would keep up with that.

Get your car tuned james.. My friend Gabe and Aries can pull some hp out of your car which hopefully will net you some faster times..

also don't feel bad because its your first time at the track and there is always room for improvement.. ie: better reaction times, launching, better tires etc..

I ran 16.7 when i first went out to the carlsbad raceway a few years back, and eventually ran a 14.9 with a bone stock H22A.. It just takes practice..

suspension plays a big role too. I remember when tony first got his h22, he ran shitty times too. then he got his suspension, and ren good times since.

i dont know if you saw mines...but didnt do better than last time but not too dissapointing ran a 14.4 ,14.6 ,then a 15.1 misshifting and all....hahaha...its kool...hopefully next time get some actual things done to the motor and not bone stock h22a anymore....we'll see...next ones in june 27th....but not sure if its gonna be ready for that..

man i didnt sleep at all the night b4 the track like tony. in the morning it was hella nice, overcast, and not too many cars. then it got hottt. i know a bunch of us got sunburned or darker. times were not good early but as it got cooler they improved. * i still like the old track placement better @ autoclub. heres some pix.

definitely need to get that tune your talkin about. i've been to the track 1 or 2 times before, and i know that my car is better that a 16 sec 1/4 mi. when i went to import face off in shreport La i hit a 15.5 with that old tranny.
