looks like you'll need a downpipe, or just get an aftermarket header. you can buy ricardo's (primesniper) DC sports unit! i think he still has it.

Time And Place!

Time: 10:00 AM, Saturday October 11th.

Place: Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside CA (PM me for directions)

To get on base: Make sure your license, insurance, and registration is up to date. We will meet at the Denny's right outside the front gate at 10:00 AM and then drive to the visitors center to get passes.

We still need a few things to make this happen:

1. A SEASONED H22A Swap Member (the more the better)
2. A Chery Picker and tools. I have a rollaway, but the more tools the better.


The wife and I will get the food and drinks. Get ready to get dirty, 'cause it will not be a clean job. I'll start buying parts and food on Thursday when I get a good estimate of who's comming. Hope to see you soon!

thats not so bad of a drive. i'm not a seasoned h22a guy but i could be of some help. Are you gonna do it on base? do they have a MWR shop you can do it in?

If i'm not working, ill try to make it over for a few..

** I Believe Camp Pendleton as a place where you can rent a lift, rent tools and pick a ASE mechanics brain. Believe its called the hobby shop, unsure about the name, but they have one on Miramar and its 5-7 bucks a hour..

**If your doing it at your place and no one has a cherry picker, i suggest buying one from harbor freight, using it then take it back for a refund.. Just tell them it didnt work properly and they wil refund you your money back..

**also not sure since your auto, but you might have to drill and tap the tranny, because the manual prelude tranny mount is different then the accord one..

** You doing your timing belt, Water Pump, Auto Tensioner? Hopefully someone shows up that knows how to change that.. Because the last thing you want is to be a off a tooth, or bend your valves.

Parts you may have overlooked?

*Honda ATF? Oil and New Oil Filter?

* New Valve Cover Gasket Set?

*Coolant/Antifreeze?
