crashed the wagon

yeah your read right, i crashed the wagon .

i had a long weekend and coming home tonight just proved how long it really was. basically i feel asleep at the wheel, which is common for me pulling a full time job, working part time for my master's degree, and being fully active at my church at the height of its summer events. after taking a right turn i must have dosed off. i awoke to the big BANG as i smashed into the right side curb at 20mph.

after assessing the damages i found both passenger side wheels curbed but not dented. the front bumper and lip has a nice gash along the side (just like my coupe awkwardly enough) but no other damage. i found the front wheel tweaked toe-in assuring me that something is bent which also explains why my steering wheel points to a 2 o'clock position in order to track straight. i looked under and couldn't see anything obvious. i have yet to take off the wheel and check further. thank God my car is at stock height or it would have been worse.

i just wanted to share my pain, and stupidity. does anyone have a passenger side lower control arm or tie rod (assuming)?

whew scared the crap out of me tim. Glad that you just dosed off on a street and not on the highway and that you're ok. Wagon doesnt sound that bad, just dont let the previous owner know :P.

Glad you're Ok Timmy. As far as damage, you hit the curb like I did which bent the control arm, radius rod, and front crossmember (where the radius rod goes into) on mine. I would check those things to be sure.

You mean radius rod? tie rod goes to the rack and pinon.

i fell asleep this one time. i made an exit out of the freeway and made a right. that was the last thing i remembered until i ran over an island. i had basically fell asleep for more then a mile!

good for you is that the damage is minor. it could of been worse.
