I'm in the middle of building my H22. I need a reputable shop to port and polish my head. Not just a shop that you've heard of, but a shop you've had something done at. Anybody know of one? JDM Concepts is right around the corner. Had a baseline dyno done there when the H22 was still in the Prelude I bought for the swap, but I didn't really like the guy. Thanks.

For h series headwork i would go to Gabe @ jdm concepts.. I know you said you dont like the guy, but honestly i didnt like gabe when i first went there, but you learn to realize he's very knowledgeable and stands behind his work.. I've been at Jdm Concepts and people have asked him about different setups and he will tell honestly them what he's seen on dyno's and what not.. They form a opinion because he is being honest and trying to save you money in the longrun.. Most take his opinion and forumlate he is a jerk because he is telling you different then your desired setup.. No not the case, he is just trying to meet your goals without breaking the bank..
Gabe also has @ries working for him as his tuner and mechanic.. @ries owns that mugen prlude and has a strong reputation in the import scene as well as knows what makes power and what doesnt on hseries motors.. Unlike most showcars his car put down 230whp with type s cams, dc header and headwork.. Its hard for people to touch those numbers with wild builds.. He port and polished my head and it was clean and but most importanly makes power.. Its really up to you.. If you want just tell them your a friend of craigs and you will get the VIP treatment lol..Last edited by bmxicansd; 05-27-2008, 03:43 AM.Header Whorage and Official Part out sale.
