Were both located about two hours away from sd depending on where you live at. Jesus is a very young person who knows his shit about cars. I am a young person who has 6 kids and work on hondas 5 days a week. But anyone that my homeboy Craig recommends, I would trust. Especially if they are local to you. Unless you also wanna come hang out too and get to know another member, then we can chill too.

lol I qualify... I havent tried to register or smog my car cuz im broke. And I support My Fam(GF and 3month old) all by my self. So this sould help me out a lot.

If you can drive it to the one near Magic Mountain and give them dirt low bank statements or anything showing poorness (is that a word?) do it. I usually have nothing to do all day so if you need ride (you do not need to bring the vehicle) or whatever pm and ask me...I have no problem helping. That goes for ANYONE in LA.

I'm wondering if anyone in the LA area can help me repair my exhaust leak. Its causing an infuriating lack of torque at low revs, not to mention the cop-magnet noise.
I jacked up the car to find the leak, and I see the hole on what appears to be a center-mounted muffler. I have no idea how to go about fixing it, so I'd like an auto tech's advice/help. I'm willing to drive out up to 50 miles if it meant getting this thing fixed, and I'll pay for your trouble.

so you have a hole in your resonator? I'd find an exhaust shop to just weld it shut. The more latino the shop the cheaper :]

true lol, i know theres a cheap ass one off la cienega blvd, dont know where exactly, or if you're feeling ballsy get that weld-putty they sell at vatozone, i got a hole on my down pipe sine the bracket that bolts to the tranny decided to break and i put this crap on it, let it sit overnight, mounted back on and let the car run for about 15 minutes. it dries in about 6 hours and the heat from the exhaust solidifies it on there, a cheap temp fix. Or you can fly to SD and we can go to my Asians, charged me $50 to weld my cherry bomb on mine lol

Just go to the junk yard and find that part. Either that or go to a muffler shop and have them cut off the portion that is leaking and weld a pipe for substitute.

oh wait i just read it was the resonator... yea nvm on that putty lol. IMO i would get a glasspack and have one of the chops weld it on place of the one you punctured

In the Valley, I got entire new muffler put in for $70 on the coupe. Place is called King Muffler. Great no B.S. Fast work. Oxnard and Van Nuys..south side of street.
