Pointers. Take the ricer exhaust off, put a stock cat back on, put stock intake on, and see what numbers it puts down..
Every smog machine is different, so I cant advise you to change your cat, clean your egr, change your o2 sensor etc if I don't know what it will read on the smog refs machine.. you know??Header Whorage and Official Part out sale.

Bar'ing it wont guarantee that your exhaust will pass noise levels dbs, passing smog is another story.
If you got the infamous VC 27156 and you HAVE to smog your car.. You used to be able to pay the fines but that violation has to be corrected before you can legally drive the car again. Legally if you got a bar ticket you either need to take it to a place of repair to get the necessary work to pass the smog sniffer or park it.. I know you can drive around and run the risk, but if a cop pulls you over and is a dcikhead, he can impound your car because you are polluting California.
I had to deal with two 27156 vc tickets.. You car basically has to pass the sniffer, visual and in your case the decibel level test.. Good luck..Header Whorage and Official Part out sale.

dang po's are still in azusa canyon busting your guys?! well sorry to read about your ticket but if you just got a modified exhaust ticket that may be easier to resolve. my first infraction where i didn't know any better, i just paid the fine and kept everything as is. never had to go to smog/court. but that was just for the exhaust alone. if you got one for your intake that's prolly an immediate send to the ref.
tell us what VC the cop gave you and we'll go from there. we here have gone through plenty of tickets enough to help you through your situation.

look at the brake booster, and pull off the vacuum line from it (the RPM will climb really high but thats normal) and SLOWLY pour the seafoam into there... it will try and stall but its helpful to have someone there to keep the idle up... do a third of the bottle in through that hose... and shut the car off for 10-15 minutes... then start it up and rev the piss out of it... maybe even take it for a pretty hard drive... it will smoke pretty bad but thats normal
a third into the crank case (where you put your oil) and a third into the fuel tank.
make sure you change your oil relatively soon after putting seafoam into it.

27156 = headache..
Just put a stock exhaust on and take it there to see what it does.. If you pass you pay no additional money on top of the 36 bucks you have to pay for the bar test..Header Whorage and Official Part out sale.
