how hard would you say it really is. Because i might need a new tranny anyway. Is it really going out of my way to swap the 5 seed or is it just as easy almost?

I did mine and today I've brought to the dealer to get the air out of the clutchlines and for his yearly checkup. I'll have it probably back by Friday.

I got the tranny with the whole clutch, shift and pedal assembly for € 250,-
          The speedsensor for € 35,-
Custom made clutchlines for € 80,-
          Axles for € 140,-
          Starter for € 35,-

Your car is faster, I'm the better driver

its really not that hard. little research/reading and patience...and its pretty straight forward.

                best of luck!

since my swap...ill never go back to a damn automatic. ACK!

It's not that difficult, especially with the engine out.

I've helped in 3 of them(one of them was a non cb).

I'm a pro at underdash disassembly, just ask Sean and Cory.
