Always look for antennas or if it doesn't have that look for the XMT on their license plate. They have to have that if its a cop.

Some of the Suburbans don't.

They patrol parts of Aurora in Seattle. Watched someone get nailed in front of me.

Good thing I guess considering I was going to pass his slow ass. He was going 30 in a 45. Glad I didn't.

Alabama has tons of state troopers riding in dodge chargers. But you only see them on the weekend in force. I used to work at a car wash and a cop pulled in to get his patrol car washed. He gladly told us that they were going to have vettes as their highway patrol cars in the near future. I guess to match up with the BMW's etc that everyone on the southside of town drive around. I haven't been pulled over yet and never want to. Seeing a cop just sitting there and waiting freaks me out.

Im pretty sure they can not clock you if they are moving. The only way this is possible is if the radar is hooked up to the ecu or something that tell it the speed of the cop car. Otherwise it is impossible.

oh trsut me. they can clock while their moving. ive been clocked before by a cop moving. most of the time if you pass a cop they go how fast they see you pass them. not by what the radar says. unless your speeding up on them doing about 1ooMPH. then they see you and hit you with the radar while your rolling up on them.

very true. but they can clock you while moving tho. i know by experiance. lol. ive been clocked and pulled. and the cop was moving.

Dont they have to print out like a receipt from the radar though? In order to prove how fast you were going and what time and everything else like that?

That kinda goes back to contesting it in court. I'm pretty sure if they have no way of proving it then how would they know. I also heard you can request to see the radar gun to see your speed you aparently were going.

i should have done that. but my honest arse had to just go along with it. i know i was doing like 75 in a 55. lol. but it got put on a docket and i got my money back that i paid for the ticket. LMAO. all that work for nothing. sucks to be that cop. lol

Are you kidding bro. We been had these out here the main person they couldnt catch was 2.2azul she drives with her lights off. Theres a regular blue and white charger that out on brooklyn beltparkway on the way goin there he sees me i see him i got off on my exit i told him lets race he said i didnt have a chance in a straight line they get up but after 80 they tend to get a little tired my turbo keeps goin. As for the all black one with no lights with all the tint thats the interceptor on it he has a supercharger aiding him so its a matter of 8 seconds before hes on your ass this one out here he likes to stay sideways and swoop in on violaters on a hill. You cant see him but he can see you while you pass the pennsylvania entrance ramp comming onto the belt.

not all the cops here have xmt on their plates. there are many cops around driving completely stock or modified rides without anything that will even give off the hint of them being cops. wsp has numerous impalas with blacked out tint and no antennas. hell here in spokane, the cops have a dropped and blacked out mustang they use on the weekends to get street racers. and its driving my a 5'1 woman. but there are no restrictions as to how the cars have to look that i know of

VA state troopers now have a 350z to aid them. ha ha ha. so everyone driving thru northern VA, watch out a for a black 350z. he has no tinted windows and no lights(that are visable while off).

Lies, Just like "they have to have their parking lights on while parked on the side of the road at night" I seen some guy in court get pwned by the judge for trying to pull that one.. haha

The way you can contest it in court IS 2 ways Personal experience...

For the Radar you can ask for the Calibration Certificate, They have to be calibrated so often.

and For pacing you can ask them if their speedo is/has been calibrated.

Its kinda hard to get out of the pacing one because of a simple math formula.
