Tuned another d series today.

This guy had a y8 before. Everyone, including me had warned him about the timing issues they have when boosted but still decided to build it. Well..he was pretty dissapointed with how it felt on 5psi. Then a few weeks later, he spun a bearing or someshit.

Now he has a z6, same vitara build, same GIGANTIC turbo. It feels way better than his y8 ever felt on 5psi. His turbo is HUGE. Not anywhere close to its sweet spot. I have a feeling it will make over 300whp on only 15psi.






We only tuned to 6k because he is still breaking it in. It has like 200 miles on it now. Has a few issues to fix, but it already pulls awesome. Even more than the previous setups I've tuned, but with smaller turbo's.

Honestly, it pulled about the same as an h22 would have in that car. It's only 5psi and NO WHERE near the turbo's efficiency range.

turbo IS the new rice, but only low psi setups. Hardly anyone runs over 8psi.

Yeah..I'm tired of it to. But money is money, so I tune even 4psi setups.

yup, and thats exactly why it's the ricer thing to do.

It is a complete waste of money and time to boost anything under 8psi on any turbo.

yummy me lıkıe...ı decıded agaınst a G35 and goıng to buy a sılver coupe and h23 boost that bıtch! gunna be a complete buıld once I get to Maryland. H23 all the way, start off wıth the engıne naturally and try to fınd a car whıle Im ın the process.

I love it, completely stoked about it, best buy I personally think I've made for this car as far as asthetics go.
