So one while back my laptop started running super slow and heating up a lot. I could never figure out wtf was wrong with it. I used various anti virus software, did the normal shit...etc..Until recently I've been pondering that maybe it's my processor going out.
Well a little searching online and I found out why my laptop as heating up so much. Back when I was in FL I had to replace the mother board. Well, that requires taking the CPU out and I didn't know at the time, but you need to clean and reapply some kind of heat transfer siliconeish crap called artic silver 5. I finally bought some and applied it between the CPU and the heat sink and holy crap the improvement is ridiculous. It runs a lot cooler and not as laggy anymore.
