ok, I seriously cannot recall any day that I can call a horrible day.

this is how today went down:

1.
It's about 8:30 am, I'm chilling at my shop watching tv because we haven't got any customers. A few minutes later some girl comes in and tells us that her car is dead about 1/4 mile down the road and asks us if we can go jump start it. I asked her more stuff like if it stopped all of the sudden, if the lights and all accessories were working, if it was cranking, if she had any gas. Everything she told me gave me a hunch that it was ignition related because it shut off suddenly, all accessories still worked, and gas tank was full. I go to my car, start her up, grab some jumper cables because she still insisted i give her a jump start, and then I drove her back to her car.

Well, I leave the shop's parking lot, as I'm about to shift into 2nd my car shuts off all of the sudden!! I'm thinking WTF!! Immediately I check my kill switch in case I had forgotten to switch it on, nope fine. I take my key out of the ignition and then put it back in and try to start, nothing. I turn on all accessories on and off a few times to make sure its not my battery or any ground that may be shorting out, every thing's ok. I pop my hood, go check to see anything that may be fucked up, everything check's out OK. Grounds are all good, i have plenty of gas, battery is good. I don't know wtf. I go back in my car, as I have calmed down now b/c I was kinda freaking out at first(i freak out anytime my car does something its not supposed to). I turn off all accessories, and try to start the car. I hear the fuel pump so I got fuel, I hear the starter so thats good, but i dont hear any type of sound that points to spark. FUCK!! So, I immediately think its my coil b/c they're notorious to go out on internal dizzy's. Well, I say sorry to the girl and give her a tow truck number, then she leaves to her car. Now, I'm stuck in the middle of the road with morning rush hour(rush hour for Pullman at least ). I call my manager and tell him to come out and help me push my car back to the shop.

We get to the shop and the first thing I do is check for spark by grounding one of the plug wires.....no spark At this point, I'm making truckers sound like angels.

Ok, about a week and a half ago, before I moved to Pullman, my gf sent me $100 because I had to pay off one of my tickets. Well, it never got here before I moved. It got there about 3 days after I moved(last weeks Tuesday is when it got there). Well, I call my mom and ask her to please send that back along with my $350 check she picked up for me the day before. She told me that some of my W2's had gotten there and that she would send it all together. So im like sweet, I'm gona do my taxes asap.

Its been a whole week now, i got nothing. I decided to call my mom today, while we weren't busy at the shop. I ask my mom if she sent it, she did. I then ask her what address she sent it to, she didn't write the complete address. It got to Pullman for sure, but it was missing the street address, the dorm number and dorm name along with the state and zip code were fine, but the street address of the dorm were not there because she forgot to write it down.

So yea, I'm hoping the post office either figures it out and sends it here(my mom actually put WSU on there) or they send it back to my mom. If neither happens, I'm screwed out of nearly $500 and two of my W2's.
By this time, I'm just super upset and feel like going home. But I don't.

We had a very LOVELY customer today, NOT. Some old, fat lady was pulled in next to the shop, and whenever a car comes by, we go out and greet them and fill out paper work on the what services they want. Well, she starts complaining about how last year(May) they charged her cheaper than they charged her last time she got an oil change(3 months ago).

I explain to her that the reason for that is because the shop was under different management and the prices were all wrong. This year we are under new management, prices have been changed. Then she asked why her oil filter was "special"(according to her receipt). It turns out that the oil filter her car uses is not the normal can ones, its a canister type that is way more expensive than any other oil filter. For that, there's an extra $3.00 charge on top of the regular oil change, and its the reason she was bitching. She kept saying that she feels like we are just lying to her to make more money out of it and blah blah blah. she went on for about 15 minutes. I told her that if she was gonna bitch about $3.00 she should leave and we didn't want her business. Then she leaves yelling and cussing at me.

Through out the day, I kept fucking up on peoples cars because my mind was on the money that I could potentially lose out on and was trying to figure out ways to fix my car.

On one car, I put windshield washer fluid in the coolant reservoir. I didn't notice until I was double checking and I found "another" washer fluid reservoir. I go and check the first one, it turns out to be the fucking coolant reservoir. So now we had to do a coolant flush because the car had already been started to prime the oil filter. That took about 30 minutes because the machine was acting up.

On another car, i would forget how much oil it needed and would put way too much and then had to go downstairs to go drain some out. Just stupid shit like that kept happening through out the day.

some background info on me in case this doesn't make sense. I HATE messing up on ANYTHING. I am a perfectionist, or at least try my hardest to be a perfectionist. Every time I fucked up, I just got more frustrated with myself and it just built up.




yea, now I'm off work, typing this up b/c I seriously had to vent.

so to everyone reading this, If you have a spare h23 dizzy, or f22b dizzy, SEND IT TO ME!!! I will pay, but not much. I don't have much money and I dont get my check until the 5th.

hooray! i hate my car right now!! well i hate busted CV boots even more! hooray for grease all over the inside of my wheel and fender.

it wouldnt be an issue cuz i would have it fixed up real quick at the shop, but no sense in spending money to replace a cv boot for an automatic axle when new 5spd ones get put in on Feb 9th. kinda problematic....
