So I went out and test drove a 93 10th ae today. Had 163k on it the motor felt good and had great throttle response. But when i popped the hood their was oil in places I didn't want to see oil aka probably coming from the cam as well as on the back where the block and the head meet. As for the rest of the car the body was pretty straight but the clear coat was basically gone on the roof and the hood had a shit ton of rock chips and dings. The interior was horrid cig burns all over the seats the lumbar knob was broken off just like in my car the dash was cracked by the radio and the rear deck had maroon speaker pods lol. So final thought . . . I was throughly disappointed
            F22b + MP1A = mad fun for me now. . .

              ^^^ its a used 15 year old car.... ^^^

finding one in absolute mint condition is gonna be tough. and expect to pay....

always gotta assume that ur gonna be fixing stuff when buying a "used" car. Hell i just had to replace my S2000 speakers since those were blown upon purchase. The front rotors are warped too...

the interior isn't that huge of a deal but the motor had me worried and I don't have the money to take the cars I am looking at to a mechanic. And something in me told me that car wasn't worth it though it was more correctly priced than all the other cbs for sale right now. But really I just want a car that looks like it was taken car of not mint just in good condition and thats almost impossible to ask for. I know I will have to fix somethings on any used car I buy i am more than aware of that. Just mostly disappointed in the fact that I thought I may have found the car I had been looking for but was just dissatisfied.

wouldn't you pay less to fix your own, that IS in good condition, then buy another one?

yeah but I am still kinda scared to put money into my car because if my blocks cracked then thats just money wasted on a car I can't afford to fix.

                          Then don't.

Sell your cb, buy a 6th gen, or any other car from a dealer. Build your credit and have a reliable car.

You bitch too much about your car being shitty. You don't have the money to fix it. You don't have the knowledgeabilities to fix it. You don't have time to fix it. You don't have that "drive" or motivation to fix it.

Sounds like modifying cars is not the right hobby for you. You don't have anything it takes to modify a car.
