Sorry man. But just for what it's worth, IF she does turn out to be showing effort at getting to know the kids it can be better for them. It's good for the kids to have influence from both of their parents, assuming it's a positive influence. I'm not a parent but I am a kid with divorced parents, I have a little idea... albeit not much.

this is true, but Alex I would be wary of what influence she is projecting on them. I too am a child of the 80's divorce era and sometimes I wish I would have lived with my dad so I wouldn't be in the place I am now, but at the same time with all the people I've met I think that its not all bad.

Why the hell does my kids mom want to SUDDENLY call and want to stop by and spend time with them AFTER pretty much 5 years of NOT being there. She doesn't call, write, email, or pay child support. All of a sudden she wants to be in their life? She is supposedly coming by my house Saturday to pick up the kids for the day. Let's see if she backs out at the last minute like she usually does.
